Involving Patients in Teaching

This week, we have Dr Clive Weston talking to us on Friday, about "Involving Patients in Medical Education". This is the second run of this talk, which was extremely well received last time round. Bring your lunch, and join us for the lively discussion that will certainly develop around this interesting and challenging topic.

e-Portfolios tomorrow

Tomorrow's FACTS lunchtime meeting will focus on using e-portfolios for clinical and educational supervision. We'll consider the value of e-portfolios as well as the practicalities of using this resource to interact with your students and trainees. We'll also spend a little time looking at the College of Medicine Faculty Development Education CPD Record, and how you can make use of this. If you bring a laptop with you, you can participate in a live demonstration. Cheers, Mike.

Other Online Resources

As we live in a "flat world" (to make use of Thomas L. Friedman famous quote), we will be posting here a series of resources related with our FACTS sessions that we encounter 'out there' on the world wide web. Enjoy!

Attendance Certs

You're probably wondering why the stream of attendance certificates has dried up. I'm afraid I have been busy with the Med School Admissions team, and will get those out to you as soon as I can. Cheers, Mike
